Chiller Trend grew out of something we kept seeing in chiller service: every visit creates useful information, but too much of it gets left behind.
Good Work Shouldn’t Disappear After the Visit.
Mechanics spend hours collecting readings, working through problems, and learning how a chiller is operating. Then the next visit comes around and much of that context is buried in old log sheets, PDFs, screenshots, service tickets, or somebody’s memory.
The readings may still exist. What is harder to recover is the story: what the machine looked like before, what changed, and what the next person should know when they walk up to it.
That problem became Chiller Trend.

Each visit should leave behind something useful enough for the next person to understand what happened before and build from it.
This Came Out of Real Chiller Service.
Chiller Trend grew out of years spent servicing large commercial chillers and central plants, troubleshooting difficult problems, collecting operating data, and comparing what a machine was doing now with what it had done before.
The idea was not to build another generic maintenance platform. It was to solve a specific field problem: keep the work from one chiller visit useful when the next visit begins.
Built to Support the Mechanic. Not Replace One.
Software can preserve history, apply calculations consistently, and make prior evidence easier to use. It cannot replace field observation, equipment knowledge, sensor verification, troubleshooting experience, or judgment.
