Explanation: This calculator estimates condenser tons from condenser-water flow and temperature rise. Condenser tons are normally higher than evaporator tons because the condenser rejects both the evaporator load and the heat of compression.

Note: This calculator assumes water. If the system contains glycol or another fluid, the heat-transfer factor changes and the result should be corrected for the actual fluid concentration.
