Method and assumptions

Condenser tons = GPM × (leaving water temperature − entering water temperature) ÷ 24.

The factor of 24 assumes water. Glycol or another heat-transfer fluid requires correction for the actual fluid properties and concentration.

This estimates condenser-side heat rejection; it does not, by itself, establish equipment condition or root cause.
