Formula used:

kW/Ton = Input Power (kW) ÷ Cooling Output (Tons)

Explanation: kW per ton is a field efficiency calculation. It compares the power going into the chiller against the cooling being produced at that operating condition. The result is most useful when the tonnage comes from measured water flow and measured temperature difference.
