Chiller Trend
These results are calculated from the readings you entered. Flow and condenser heat rejection are estimates. They do not diagnose the chiller or verify sensor accuracy.
Advanced

Flow estimate

Estimated GPM = Design GPM × √(Measured ΔP ÷ Design ΔP)

Tap a pressure unit to switch between feet of water and PSI while preserving the reading. Every pressure field can be entered independently in feet of water or PSI. PSI values are converted using 2.31 ft H₂O per PSI before the pressure-drop ratio is calculated.

Evaporator load

Tons = GPM × Evaporator ΔT × 500 ÷ 12,000

Condenser heat rejection

Condenser tons = GPM × Condenser ΔT × 500 ÷ 12,000

Efficiency

kW/ton = Total chiller kW ÷ Calculated evaporator tons

Warnings

Use stable readings and verified instruments when accuracy matters. Pressure-drop flow is an estimate and depends on correct design data, pressure taps, fluid properties, and measurement quality.

ONE LOG SHEET IS A SNAPSHOT. THE VALUE BUILDS OVER TIME.

Chiller Trend keeps each log with the chiller, so every visit builds on the last.
